no. 2 collectivity
Solidarity does not assume that our struggles are the same struggles, or that our pain is the same pain, or that our
hope is for the same future. Solidarity involves commitment, and work, as well as the recognition that even if we do
not have the same feelings, or the same lives, or the same bodies, we do live on common ground.
-Sara Ahmed
Each of us is looking through a window, a line of sight that frames our view and establishes our orientation.
The view may be occupied with a myriad of knowledges, influences and obstacles, but it is essentially still this
— only one view.
How can we navigate this limitation in the pursuit of collective work?
When one perspective is all we know, how can we expand our horizons?
